Old Hickory Old Faithful Vanity 36"

Our Old Faithful 36" Vanity is reminiscent of the furniture designed for the Old Faithful Innin Yellowstone National Park over 100 years ago. The Old Faithful Collection is straight forward and cleanly designed; it features an oak veneer over a hickory frame and hickory drawer handles and decorative accents. The pioneers not only built their cabins out of hickory, but they built their furniture out of it. The rest of our collections are unique and functional and always let you surround yourself with natures beauty.

The beauty and exquisite texture of hickory furniture allows it to bring a new dimension to all rustic rooms. In creating the finish on our Old Faithful 36" Vanity the traditional look of regular sanding was used which leaves the bark texture in its natural darker and rougher appearance. Each piece is coated with at least two protective topcoats to protect the piece against normal wear and to resist water.

The hickory tree flourishes across eastern parts of North America and as far west as Texas. Due to rich limestone deposits in the Indiana region, vast stands of this tree emerged and flourished and became the home of Old Hickory Furniture. Hickory is exceptionally tough, heavy and strong, making it one of the most durable woods in North America.
