Superbly sculptured, this family of bears are sure to give your home charm. As the Mother Bruin and her two rowdy cubs emerge from the woods, they tumble about in their playfulness, all the while Mother keeps watch with an amused smile across her muzzle. The Lost Wax Cast process allows for a breathtaking amount of beauty to be captured in this handsome selection of bronze. The bear's fur ripples across their bodies in a most natural manner, giving the feeling of a moment paused in time. These bears have been painstakingly polished-the tips of many of their upper furred areas have been brushed to a low golden luster, giving the impression that they are golden grizzlies in a mid-summer glow. And once the characteristic green sets in, it will settle on the undersides of these bears, creating a colorful and aged look that will only enhance the majesty of this trio. This is a large-format ensemble piece and would be best suited in wide spaces. Extensive foyers and backyards with the space to accommodate them, or using them as garden accents would be the perfect place to display these beautiful works of art!
Dimensions: Mother Bear: 66" long x 24' wide x 37" high Cubs are proportionally smaller. Materials: Lost Wax Cast Bronze with polished bronze accents. Cleaning and Care: Dust regularly with soft cloth (do not press or rub too vigorously). If grime accumulates on sculpture, clean well with soft brush. Take extra care to clean between crevices, wipe softly with flannel cloth. For more thorough cleaning, wash with 1 tbsp of salt and 3 1/2 quarts of water and rinse well. Polish with copper polish followed by glass wax. For High Polish, dip a cloth into liquid wax and lightly rub onto the piece. Let dry, buff lightly to a high gloss. If green coloration occurs (and is undesired) wash the sculptures in repeated changes of boiling distilled water. Or consult a museum expert or professional.
